- Kansas Senate passed legislation to cap increases in assessed value of real estate, which would make it hard for cities to balance their budgets.
- Citizen raised questions about City’s co-living ban as lawsuit about the ban awaits court decision.
- Council approved $75,000 SEED grant for Tiki Taco as 2025 sales tax revenue from downtown businesses exceeds $1 million for the first time.
- Council approved $121,000 purchase of new playground equipment for Caenen Park.
- Council authorized staff to request bids for new traffic signals at Johnson Drive & Quivira • to be completed Autumn of this year. No traffic disruptions should occur.
